Remaining humble throughout life is admirable.
I truly feel so misaligned with people who have boastful tendencies, who make it sound like life is always easy, always perfect and always up without any downs. We all know this isn't always the case.
What I've learned the hard way is that what goes up, often does come down and it can go up again, and down again...sometimes it is a flat line with little ups and downs, but when we pretend it is all great or when we speak only about the BEST parts of life, we mislead and can lose trust from those around us.
Let's face it...we ALL have good days, bad days. We all have successful and years of fulfillment...but we all do experience days and years of sorrow, discouragement, failure and quite simply like we are drowning in a downward spiral...(money, health, career, business, relationships to name a few).
The more REAL we can all be with one another, the more connected and aligned we can feel with people who are meant to be part of our tribe.
Being someone who LOVES personal growth and development and positive thinking, I am not saying that it isn't important to "change our state" when we are low, and to turn our negative thoughts into positive ones...that is all important for sure, we can benefit from it all...
However as I leave this message here, I want you to know that you are perfectly imperfect, you are a wonderful human being, learning as you go. You are enough even when you are faced with challenges and struggle. You are important...even if life has given you some lemons at the moment. We all have the ability to change our circumstances (yes), and remember it will not happen overnight. Embrace the lows with the highs, don't forget who you are. Stay humble, stay honest, remain kind, appreciate your journey and acknowledge those who are real in their own journey.
Sometimes, we believe social media isn't the place to be "real" because we don't want to put negative posts out there. But the truth is, our lowest days or moments can be positive depending on if we are willing to see the beauty and learn the lesson in those times. And your learning and truth can also help one reader who is looking for hope and to know they are not alone. When people can read a post and they say "me too"...I've felt that way, I've struggled with that too, I've questioned the same things...then you know that your life is impacting other lives...just your honesty, humble nature...will HELP OTHERS who are thinking of giving up!
Show yourself to the world...faults/struggles and all...and know that you are NEVER alone!
